Great similarities can be found between the Occidental Park of the City of Porto, the Urban Park of Ovar and the Oriental Park, the three designed by the landscape architect Sidónio Pardal. According to the author, the project consisted of "transforming a compartmentalized and uneven space of fields into a natural continuum, grassy, wooded and with a network of paths where people enjoy spending their free time in peace"._cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
